SLO Bike Valet Wins Pollution Prevention Award!
The SLO County Bicycle Coalition's SLO Bike Valet program is one of the winners of the 2007 Air Pollution Control District's Pollution Prevention (P2) awards.
"The District recognizes local individuals, organizations and businesses that succeeding in their efforts to keep our skies clear by reducing their impacts on our local air quality. Pollution Prevention Week is held each year during the second full week in September." - www.slocleanair.org
On September 26th, the SLO Bike Valet accepted its P2 award at the APCD's board meeting. You can see the award and accompanying certificate by visiting the Coalition office at 1413 Monterey St. in San Luis Obispo.
